GRADING IS NOW COMPLETE

Grading is the organisation of players into teams by all clubs… and then teams into the competitions by the SSFA! All teams are graded from U6 to O45’s.

Player identification cards will now be printed. All competition players aged U12 and over are required to have a player identification card. These must be shown to the opposition team prior to each match. SHFC will issue cards to team mangers.

Regrading will occur again at week 4 of the winter competition.

COMPETITION RULES

The competition rules in full are available on the SSFA website:

Please take care when borrowing players. Always refer to Rule 16 in our Rule Book.

RESPECT OUR VOLUNTEERS

Football in the Sutherland Shire wouldn’t exist without the dedication and passion of our volunteers. From coaches to referees, administrators to ground control, their selfless efforts ensure that everyone, from miniRoos to Seniors, can enjoy the beautiful game to its fullest. Volunteers devote countless hours to organising match days, maintaining facilities, and nurturing a sense of community within our clubs.

Their commitment is the backbone of our football community, shaping memorable experiences in players of all ages. As a community, it’s vital that we acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable contributions of our volunteers.

You can show your gratitude by respecting their time, efforts, hard work and recognising their importance in making football in the Sutherland Shire happen every week. Whether it’s offering a simple “thank you,” lending a helping hand, or actively participating in club activities, every gesture of appreciation goes a long way in showing your appreciation for their dedication.
